Roadtrip 2019 Fall: Vancouver - Richland - Twin Falls - Provo - Kanab - Yucca Valley - Paso Robles - Sacramento - Brookings - Yachats - Cannon Beach - Vancouver

Day 26 - Kanab Lay Day

So, today started as a day off from the trip, and then by mid-afternoon, we decided to go have a look at the nearby South Fork of the Indian Canyon, where there are some world-class petroglyphs.  We bailed on the access road due to deep sand – very scary, and then decided to go have another look at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes.  We forgot it's Saturday.  This is the overflow parking lot for Coral Pink, overrun by the 171st Battalion of the 2nd Division of Motorized Mayhem.  The Sand Dunes are more of a Coral Pink Dust and Exhaust Pit today.

For the record, this is the other overflow parking lot at the other end of the Coral Pink Dust and Exhaust Pit.
